Последняя повесть из трилогии о Максиме Каммерере. Историк и социолог Айзек Бромберг направил Каммереру пространный меморандум «Рабочая модель прогрессорской деятельности Странников в системе человечества Земли». Резюме меморандума гласило: «…человечество будет разделено на две неравные части по неизвестному нам параметру, причем меньшая часть форсированно и навсегда обгонит большую, и это свершится волею и искусством сверхцивилизации, решительно человечеству чуждой».
Теория Бромберга, как ни странно, оказалась и ложной, и правдивой одновременно… Появление Homo Super, или, иначе, люденов, вызвало грандиозную перемену в жизни людей.

The last story from the trilogy about Maxim Emiere. Historian and sociologist Isaac Bromberg sent Kammerer a lengthy memorandum "Working model of the Progressor activities of the Wanderers in the system of humanity of the Earth." The summary of the memorandum read: "... humanity will be divided into two unequal parts on an unknown parameter, and a smaller part will overtake the great part of the force and forever, and it will be accomplished by the will and art of supercivilization, decidedly alien to mankind."
Bromberg's theory, strangely enough, turned out to be both false and truthful at the same time... The appearance of Homo Super, or, otherwise, people, caused a huge change in people's lives.
